Martin Hak

Martin was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a cherished member of the community. Known for his unwavering dedication to youth sports, Martin spent countless hours mentoring young athletes, coaching hockey teams, and inspiring those around him with his quiet strength and generous spirit. His impact reached far beyond the rink, he was a pillar of support, a loyal friend, and a man whose presence brought warmth and steadiness to all who knew him.

He leaves behind his wife and their daughters, who will carry forward his legacy of kindness, resilience, and love. Martin is also survived by his parents, his sister, brother-in-law, and his niece and nephew, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

Martin’s memory will live on in the stories shared by teammates, families, and friends whose lives he touched so deeply.

A Celebration of Martin's Life will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 6:00 pm, at Planet Ice Maple Ridge, 23588 Jim Robson Way, Maple Ridge, BC, V2W 1B8

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you honour Martin's memory by donating to the Ridge Meadows Minor Hockey Association and by supporting one another, just as he always did.
