It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Matteo at age 86. He was the last survivor and youngest of 7 siblings survived by his loving wife of 60 years, sons Sergio and Ronnie and grandson Joseph. His passing was fast and without suffering at Burnaby General hospital palliative care unit. Matteo was known amongst his peers as the hardest working man with simple needs whom was selfless and cared deeply and was dedicated to the well being of his family. We will have a celebration of life for him at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel on March 29, 2017 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers one can make a donation to Burnaby General Hospital Foundation. He will be greatly missed , much loved and never forgotten.
