Michele (Mike) Muccillo, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 18, 2021. Mike was born in Chiauci, Italy on January 17, 1927, immigrating to Vancouver, Canada in 1957 with his beloved wife Giovanna, who joined him shortly after his arrival. Together they raised their three children, Julie, Ernesto and Renato.
Mike was always known for his unrelenting work ethic as a cement mason, putting in endless hours to provide for his family. He loved his Giardino and quickly gained a reputation as a master gardener. He also had an affinity with nature and enjoyed many years fishing with family and friends. He could be seen hunting pheasant in the fields of the Fraser Valley into his late 80s.
He will be deeply missed by family and friends. Mike is survived by his loving wife Giovanna of 67 yrs, and his children Julie (Norm), Ernesto and Renato. Grandchildren Christopher, Michael, Andrew, Anthony and great grandchild, Matthias.
Church service will be held at Corpus Christi Church on August 3, 2021 at 1:00 PM
