It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nick who lost his battle with lung cancer. He is predeceased by his parents Carmela and Salvatore and brother Cosimo. He is survived by his loving wife Adriana, daughters Lina (Luigi), Gina (Enzo), grandchildren Joe, Daniela, Alberto and Nico, sister Rosa (Mauro), brothers Vittorio (Anna) and Tony (Maria), and many nieces and nephews. Nick was a strong, kind, generous man that was devoted to his family and worked hard to provide for them. He was the patriarch of his family. He was an avid hunter who enjoyed hunting immensely. Nick was an honorary member of the Vancouver Gun Club where he spent countless hours volunteering his time. He will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends. Our lives will forever be changed without him in our lives. Prayer will be offered on Thursday, March 8th at 7:00 pm at St. Helen's Catholic Church, 3860 Triumph St. Burnaby where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 9th at 11:00 am. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, South Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Dr. Paul Klimo, Oncology Clinic, Lions Gate Hospital.
