It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful, caring father and loving husband Nicola. Nicola died peacefully on September 17, 2016 with his family by his side. Born in Aradeo (Lecce) Italy on Dec. 6, 1933, Nicola is survived by his loving wife Giovanna; sisters Donata (Aldo) and Marisa (Donato), daughter Maria (Allan), son Paolo, daughter Rosanna (Zevin), loving grandchildren Lucas, Alessandra and Andren, and many family members in Italy. Nicola will always be remembered as a gentle and kind soul with a loving heart. He was a skilled cement mason for over 50 years and was a perfectionist in his craft. Nicola was generous and loyal to his family and friends and will truly be missed. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Parish, 1450 Delta Ave. Burnaby, B.C.
