Mr. Norman Wayne Jesson

Wayne passed away suddenly in Delta, B.C. on July 23rd. Pre-deceased by his first wife, Sharon; brother, Albert; mother, Dorothy; father, Norman and niece, Holly. He will be forever loved and missed by his sons: Jeremy, Matthew (Jordana), Michael (Courtney) and his beloved sister, Janet. He is also survived by his brother, Ken (Dianne); grandchildren: Michael, Josh, Lilliana, Tyra, Jayda, Wesley and Wyatt as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and his ex-wife, Janice.

The door to Wayne’s home and heart was always open to everybody and he will be missed by many friends. He will also be missed by his best friend: his dog, Megs, who followed him everywhere. Wayne was always the first to lend a hand and donated to many charities over the years in his community. Wayne was a proud member of ILWU Local 502 in New Westminster and at Westshore Terminals where he worked for over 35 years. He loved his union brothers and sisters and always had their back and they always had his.

Wayne’s Celebration of Life will take place at 1:30pm on August 10th, 2017 in the Chapel of Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, British Columbia. Reception to follow at Brownsville Pub, 11940 Old Yale Rd, Surrey, B.C.
