從未想過會寫這訊息給你。大概從我初次見家長到現在，我也很少發這麼多字的訊息給你，但現在，我不得不懷著如此沉重的心情留言。希望您原諒我不善言辭，一直很少對您說尊敬或孝順的話。

感謝您接納我成為您家庭的一員，讓我做你的新抱，也感謝你給我機會可以跟着一家人到處去和分享一切美好的事物。和你的相處雖然沒太多言語交流，但你總令到整個家庭很和諧和常常充滿歡笑。雖然您已去了另一國度，但我會記着您招牌和藹可親笑咪咪的眼神和親切暖心的笑容。

我會好好照顧BenBen奶奶和Heather，發少些脾氣，少令他們生氣，希望可以少令你擔心，直到我們再次相見。

退休後的您應該是要多享受天倫之樂，安養天年之時，無奈病魔再度來襲，讓我們失去您。

然而這段日子以來，看您忍耐著每一次病痛的煎熬，原諒我卻什麼忙也幫不上，只能默默地在一旁陪著您。

也許我總令您操心，但您總是在我背後默默地付出，用盡您一生的愛與力量給我包容與關心，感恩有您給我支持，讓我可以走好每一段路。

辛苦了，您真的很堅強、很勇敢，一直都很有毅力的面對病痛，從來沒有抱怨過。面對這長期的病痛，更是堅持到最後一刻。

您可以放下，不再擔心身體的病痛，我兄弟二人，一定會好好地照顧媽媽，照顧自已，請您不要擔心。

I remember Uncle Patrick as a gentle and kind man. He will be remembered by his smile, laughter and his care for the family- Auntie Brenda, Ben and David. Thank you for always welcoming us so warmly whenever we visited Vancouver and Hong Kong. He will be greatly missed and remembered.

In Loving Memory of Patrick

We remember with deep love and gratitude our dear brother-in-law, Patrick, Yuen Pui Lee  who passed away on 30 October 2025. Patrick was not only a devoted husband to my younger sister, Brenda but also a caring and thoughtful member of our family. His kindness, generosity, and quiet strength touched everyone who knew him.

Patrick built a remarkable career in Hong Kong’s television and media industry, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike. His professionalism, creativity, and passion for his work were matched only by his warmth and sincerity in everyday life.

Beyond his achievements, what we will miss most is Patrick’s gentle smile, his sense of humour, and the genuine care he showed to those around him. His presence brought light and laughter to our family gatherings, and his love for my sister will forever remain a precious memory.

Patrick’s life was a blessing, his memory a treasure. He will always be loved and never forgotten.

My heartfelt condolences to Patrick’s family. Patrick was a loyal friend and partner for over fifty years, and we shared many wonderful memories while roaming around China. From the laughter and stories to the quiet, meaningful moments, those times will always hold a special place in my heart. Patrick’s hardworking and dependable nature, along with his love for his family, made him someone we all admired deeply. He’ll be remembered with warmth, gratitude, and affection.

2017年1月26日在公司五樓的部門Gathering

Patrick是在2004年加入有線電視的。2011年7月，我們廣播運作工程部副總裁光榮退休，公司就委派了Patrick做我們部門的總監。我第一個印象就是他的語速非常之快，無論粵語英語都如是。正如他的語速一樣，他對事物的反應和工作步伐也非常快，所以我們彼此的配合也很快地互相適應下來，以至融洽了。不久後，我們把新聞系統高清化放上了公司的工作議題，Patrick經常帶着我去與公司行政總裁和新聞部董事開會，經過兩年不懈的努力，公司終於在2013年批准了我們這個項目。

對於這個項目，Patrick跟得非常緊貼，甚至邀請了當時剛退了休的前總工程師回來幫我手，過程中我從Patrick那裡學習了怎樣在老闆面前演講以及怎樣和財務總監打交道。

2017年有線易手，Patrick與我和當時的總工程師一起經歷了一段艱難時期。除了新聞高清化的項目之外，還有將財經台的直播間由中環會德豐中心搬去了近上環的遠東發展大廈，更有一個將有線搬入大埔亞視原址設想的研究。另外他和我也一起研究過如何將公司的每層分成兩層以節省地方的可行性。

Patrick的工作態度嚴謹、勤懇和認真，更孜孜不倦，通常我很晚才交給他的功課，第二天早上他已給我一個改好了的版本，這種敬業樂業的專業精神，真是值得我們敬仰！

2018年12月8日，Patrick終於光榮地退休了。退休之後，Patrick返回了溫哥華，但是仍然很關心公司的變化，經常透過我去了解同事們的近況。

值得一提的是，他與我的情誼還伸延到下一代。他的兒子Ben與我共事了三年，我非常之滿意以及肯定他兒子的專業知識和解決問題的能力，以及良好的工作表現，真有乃父之風，更可以說是虎父無犬子！

2022年，我的大兒子Isaac去溫哥華的Simon Faser University做實習，於是乎我就找了Patrick幫手為Isaac找房子，誰知Patrick竟然說讓Isaac到他家住，為此我到現在還很感激他。

他很熱情地款待Isaac，使我兒子很快地融入並愛上了加拿大這個地方，以至他2023年大學畢業後就過去了多倫多工作。

哲人日已遠，典型在夙昔。無論作為上司或朋友，Patrick都是值得我們尊敬和欣賞的，更是一個值得我們學習的榜樣。

這麼多年來，我們之間都保持有聯絡，今個中秋節方才與他聯絡過，還彼此的互相祝福。Ben傳來他逝世的消息，真是有點突然。如今，他歇息了地上所有的勞苦，在天上安息了，我們永遠懷念他。

願主安慰Patrick的家人！祝福他們！
