Pietro Pingitore

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend Pietro Pingitore on March 9th, 2010. He is predeceased by his brother Giovanni and sister Enza. He is survived by his loving wife Amina, his daughter Maria Katsionis (Peter) and his son Domenico (Catherine), his grandsons who were his pride and joy Vincenzo, Matthew, Romen, David and Marino, his brother Franco and his sisters Eva, Lydia and Ines, many nieces, nephews and friends. Pietro was affectionately known as 'Uncle Pete' by everyone. He will always be remembered for his sharp wit, kindness and big heart. We would like to thank the many friends and family that supported us during this difficult time. Prayers will be offered Sunday March 14th at 4:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows 555 S. Slocan St. Vancouver, where Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, March 15th at 10:00 a.m. with entombment following at the South Mausoleum, Ocean View Cemetery.
