Premilla Wati Chand

With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Premilla Chand, who left this world on November 20, 2025, in Vancouver. Born on May 15, 1949, Premilla lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and quiet strength. Her gentle spirit and warm heart touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Premilla was a devoted daughter, sister, and cherished member of her family. She now joins her beloved parents, Ram Narayan Chand and Rajpati Chand, as well as her late siblings Manju, Peter, and George, who predeceased her. She is survived by her loving siblings Vijay, Saras, and Jenny, who will forever hold her memory close.

A woman of remarkable warmth and compassion, Premilla was known for her thoughtful nature, her deep generosity, and her unwavering care for others. She carried a spiritual grace that brought comfort to those around her, offering support, encouragement, and love without hesitation.

Her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of her many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends. Each will remember her for her soft-spoken wisdom, her gentle humour, and the kindness she shared throughout her life.

As we honour her memory, we also celebrate the peace she has found. May the guiding light of the Gayatri Mantra accompany her on her journey:
