Remo Schenato

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Remo Schenato, a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Born in Arzignano, Vicenza, Italy, on June 10, 1933, he passed away peacefully on October 28, 2021, at the age of 88. Remo is survived by his devoted loving wife; Pina, Children; Salvatore (Linda), Silvana (Omar), Renato (Nicole); Grandchildren Dean (Nahida), Fatima (Tarik), Vanessa, Natasha (Elijah), Remo Jr, Chiara and Mattea as well has his many Great Grandchildren. Remo came to Canada in 1958 where we got a job as a factory worker. Remo was known to work hard and never missed a single day of work, which he took great pride in, thus achieving lasting respect and esteem of all his fellow co-workers. Remo worked hard to provide a good life for his wife and children. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and devotion to his family.

Prayers will be offered Thursday, November 4th at 6pm at St Francis of Assisi. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1pm on Friday, November 5th, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 2025 Napier St, Vancouver. Private Entombment to take place following the service.
