1919 - 2013
It is with sadness that the family announces that Robert (Bob) Smith passed away suddenly on April 11, 2013. Bob was predeceased by his loving wife Ruth of sixty-seven years, granddaughter Colleen, brothers Alec, Bill and Doug and his
sister Gwen. He is survived by his brother Jack, also sons Kent (Dawn) and Robert (Sandra) and his daughter Lorraine Graves, grandchildren; Douglas (Tanya) Smith, Meghan (Ryan) and Bronwyn (Chris) Graves, Jordan and Stephanie Smith as well as great-grandchildren; Kyle and Michael Smith and Morgan and Waylan Redman. Bob served in the Canadian Air Force in World War Two and was a long time employee of B.C. Electric, B.C. Hydro and Metro Transit. Funeral service is Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial St. Burnaby with interment and reception to follow.
