Rosa Cristiano (Mamma Rosa), born January 26, 1927 and passed away November 10, 2017 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years, Giuseppe Cristiano. Devoted mother to Sam (Anna), Rose (John), Frank, Pina (Lui), Lina (Gino) and Mary (Claudio). She left behind 12 grandchildren: Melissa, Giuseppe, Frank (Suzy), Joe (Donna), Michael (Danielle), Adam, Derek, Andrew, Edi, Samantha, Tashya and Luca, 4 great grandchildren: Gabrielle, Gianluca, Julia and Giovanni. Also survived by her sister Saverina (Josie, Maria & Families), a brother, sisters, nieces and nephews in Italy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Helen’s Parish, 3860 Triumph Street, Burnaby, with a private immediate family entombment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Villa Carital where Rosa spent the last year and a half of her life being cared for by the amazing and loving staff.
