Royal Columbian Hospital suddenly from Septic Shock which has left his family in shock with many
unanswered questions at this time. He leaves behind his wife of 52 years Debbie and two children
Tammy and husband Derek and son Clinton and wife Susan. He has three beautiful granddaughters
he was so proud of and adored Brittany, Alondra and Mia.
Roy was born in Vancouver, B.C. and spent his early years living on 4TH avenue in Kits, then in
Penticton and Castlegar and lastly Burnaby where he has lived most of his life. He has many memories
of his childhood and lots of stories. In his last years he has been telling everyone how beautiful B.C. is
and spending time going down to Kits and Spanish Banks which hold a special place in his heart. He
loved Photography and took lots of pictures at Drag Races and Car Shows and even had a huge picture
of a car on display at Expo 86. Later in life he started taking pictures of Ducks and Birds and of course
his Granddaughters. He also loved to sit in his garden enjoying the afternoon sun with some good music
and a Beer or two.
Roy worked for BC Hydro in the Gas Division and loved his job repairing, installing, finding leaks and
attending emergency situations until he had a few back injuries which forced him to retire. He had
so many stories to tell of his work experiences. He was very knowledgeable and new something
about everything or found out about it.
The memories we made and the good times we shared will give us comfort we will miss his stories and
his laughter when he told them will make us smile. You left us too quickly with so much unsaid and
unfinished just remember that we love you and will miss you so much. There is disbelief in our minds
and a hole in our hearts. They say time is a great healer I hope this is true.
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO hugs and kisses from all of us.
