Sharon was courageous and provided us with an open and honest account of her experience. 

Today â€“ I am saddened to see Sharon has lost the fight and extend my sympathies to her husband Karl, her parents and brother and her extended family, that she often spoke of.  I had the pleasure of having Sharon on my team for a number of years in TELUS.  She was an extremely dedicated individual and a true team player, who made coming into work each day enjoyable.  Although she was taken from us far too soon, her positive impact to those who had the opportunity to work with her will endure.
