

after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on February 20th, 2006 in Vancouver, she was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her.
From a young age, Shelley was known for her warmth, laughter, and boundless curiosity. She had a deep love for learning, always seeking to understand the world and the people around her. Whether playing with cousins, exploring books, or helping those in need, she embodied kindness and joy.
As she entered middle school, her inquisitive mind deepened, and she became a thoughtful, philosophical soul. High school saw her blossom into a compassionate, driven young woman—always thinking of others, extending a hand to those in need, and embracing life’s challenges with courage. Her friendships were deep and meaningful, her artistic spirit shone through her creative pursuits, and her love for travel took her to places near and far, where she immersed herself in local cultures beyond tourist attractions.
Even as she faced her illness, she remained steadfast in her love for her family and friends. Her Dream—to advance cancer research through AI, empower women, and support children’s education—will live on through ongoing projects in her name.
Her kindness, her laughter, her unwavering spirit—these are the gifts she leaves behind, forever cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
