Mrs. So Wah Quan Wong

Our beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Friend, Mrs. So Wah Quan Wong (Po Po), passed away peacefully at Vancouver General Hospital on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. At the age of 81 after a courageous battle with on going health issues, she was surrounded by her loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Po Po was born April 8, 1940 in a small village from China, where she married her loving husband and has been together for 59 years. Po Po has two sons and two daughters. Po Po also has seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

After immigrating to Canada with basically nothing. Po Po's kind heart and loving soul of helping others, landed her a job as an elderly caretaker. During Po Po's free time, she likes to garden, exercise, play with grandchildren, dim sum and play mahjong. Po Po's bright smile will always light up the whole room. I remember Po Po once said to me that "life goes on without me", however life wouldn't be the same without you.

Visitation for Po Po will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G3M1.

A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G3M1.

A witness cremation will occur Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at West Coast Crematorium, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G3M1.

A committal service will occur Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G3M1.
