After dealing with mucopolysaccharidosis (Hurler Syndrome) all his life, he is now resting in peace beside his Mom and Dad. He passed away quickly from an apparent heart failure. Steve is survived by his brothers John and Bob.
He was in pain the last few years which he managed gracefully. His last few years were challenging but the Little Giant kept on going although pulling away from his social networks.
Steve loved sports including soccer and could let you know what they did right or wrong, not shy expressing his opinion.
His last year was spent at Chenchenstway Care facility with a very special thank you to the staff. He was welcomed with love, making his last year as enjoyable as one could hope for. Staff, doctors, and nurses took great care of Steve during his stay.
