Teresa Paris

Our beloved Mamma passed away peacefully with her loving husband of 53 years by her side on Thursday, Oct 19, 2023 in Vancouver, BC after a courageous battle with Cancer. She was 90 years young.

Teresa was born in Cuccaro Vetere, Salerno, Italy on October 3, 1933 to Pietro and Maria Grazia Luongo. She was one of ten children with now only two remaining. She is survived by her husband Antonio; children Adele, Giulia (Jason) and Armando; grandchildren Liana (Brandon), Adrianna, Italia, Anthony, Taylor, Sienna and great grand-daughter Mylah.

Teresa will be forever missed by everyone who’s heart she’s ever touched. She was happiest hosting family, extended family, close friends, people from all around the world and any individual that took to her kindness. Her love of food and infectious personality will leave a lasting impression to everyone.

Her vivacious and giving spirit will be missed by many. Her recipes will live with us forever. We will miss you and until we see you again and we are sure the coffee and cookies will be waiting.“Mangia che ti fa bene”

A visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Wednesday, October 25 at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, Burnaby. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30pm on Friday, October 27th at Holy Cross Parish, 1450 Delta Avenue, Burnaby, with entombment to follow at the South Mausoleum North Wing, Ocean View Burial Park, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby.

Mother you will always be in our hearts. We love you so much. We will miss you until we meet again.
