We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our father Umberto Bortolussi. He passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on Sunday morning February 12, 2023. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Born in San Vito Al Tagliamento Italia. He is survived by his wife Elena of over 68 years, their children Mario (Barbara), Luigi (Maria) and Grandchildren Alysha (Tony) and Stefano (Jessica). Umberto was a hard working man who enjoyed being outside doing all kinds of things. He loved spending time with his family traveling to the Okanagan, Hawaii and especially going back home to Italia. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and will always remain in their hearts.
We are sincerely grateful to the many friends who have given us comfort and support during this time. A special thanks to the nurses and staff at Cottage Hospice who took care of our Dad, as well as the nurses at VGH and Dr. Lorenzon.
