Our loving mother and grandmother, Violet Sit passed away peacefully on the morning of Friday February 2nd, 2024. She was 94 years old.She is survived by her children, Doris, Shirley, Wilson, and William; and 4 grandchildren, Stephanie, Jennifer, Dayton and Destin. Our mother had a passion for cooking and baking. She baked many types of cookies and cakes. She also cooked a lot. She even learned how to roast a BBQ duck with a fork over a coal fire pit (the traditional way). She retired in her early 60's. During her retirement she went to Queen Elizabeth Park and join a Tai Chi group and learned to practiced the 108 movements. There she met many new friends and travelled with them when they have a trip planned. She is loved and will be missed by her loved ones.
