Vivian Zhang. ...... We lost our beautiful Vivian on October 10. She was the beloved wife of Donald Low, devoted mom of Lianne, wonderful daughter to Rende Zhang and Xiao Ying Zhang and dear sister to Nancy (Eugene). Vivian was a glowing light, and an adventurous free spirit, always ready to help, ready to laugh, and ready to share her world and her beautiful home with family and friends. Vivian was born in Hangzhou, China and immigrated with her parents and sister to Canada in 1989.
She studied Commerce at the University of Victoria. She enjoyed her work as a controller with Paul Leong Architect Inc., and then Donald came along, and Vivian found a new life of gardening, cooking, travelling the world, and, most of all, being the best mother in the world to Lianne and an incomparable friend and companion to Donald. She gave him 20 years of joy, care, and love. Her life and her love will go on. Vivian will also be missed by her extended family, her church family at Fairview Presbyterian Church and her countless friends both far and near. ………. Vivian’s candle was not long, but it gave a warm light, the memory of which will stay on and on.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday Oct. 22 at 2:00pm at Fairview Presbyterian Church (2725 Fir St. Vancouver). We ask that in lieu of flowers, that you consider making a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
