Yim Hung Jang was a devoted wife, a loving and selfless mother, a proud grandmother, and a doting great-grandmother. From the time she arrived in Canada and started a family, she dedicated her life to her two daughters and twin sons. Alongside her beloved husband, she worked tirelessly to raise their children, making countless sacrifices so they could flourish and live full and meaningful lives. Family was always at the center of her heart.
Yim Hung’s love extended far beyond her immediate family. She cared deeply for her extended family and friends, welcoming many into her home and life with generosity, warmth, and grace. Widely regarded as the matriarch of the clan, she was a source of wisdom, strength, and quiet guidance for several generations.
She was predeceased by her devoted husband of 63 years, Kwai Fong Jang, and by her beloved younger sister, Sau Hung Kwong. She is lovingly remembered by her four children: Jeannie (Rick), Anne (Barry), Ming (Marie), and Mingson (Kathy); her seven cherished grandchildren, Karen, Allison, Chelsey, Kyle, Andrew, Caleb, and Sophie; her beloved four great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Gwendolyn, Jordyn and Frederick; and her two younger brothers, Fu Cheng Zheng (Giong Ghu Tang) and Fu Wing Zheng. She is also fondly missed by her two beloved miniature poodle grandsons, Tofu and Oscar.
Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother lived a full and blessed life. One of her greatest joys was seeing her family grow, welcoming grandchildren from each of her children, and experiencing the special blessing of becoming a great-grandmother through her two oldest granddaughters.
We are profoundly grateful for her unwavering love and care which sustained our family through the decades and across three generations. We find comfort and peace in knowing that she has been called home by the Lord and is now reunited in heaven with her dear husband, our father and grandfather.
