Yu-To Chen

We are saddened to announce the passing of Yu-To Chen, age 88, of Vancouver, British Columbia on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Yu-To was born August 16, 1933 in Ningbo, China. Despite his humble beginnings, he overcame many adversities to become successful in his own right. He treated his son and daughters equally and provided them the best education abroad although he had only been allowed to attend school until fourth grade. He gave up his successful career in Hong Kong to provide a better future for his children by immigrating to Canada. He never took credit or asked for recognition for what he has done for his family. Beloved for his quick wit and subtle thoughtfulness, he will be deeply missed by his friends and family.
