Barbara Lovelle Drosche

Barbara Lovelle Williams Drosche was born April 19,1938, in the Mahomet Community of Burnet County, Texas to Gordon and Mildred (Hall) Williams. She passed away at her home in Meadowlakes March 11, 2024, at age 85.

She attended school in Mahomet and Briggs as well as Temple and Wagner, Oklahoma.

Attending High School in Galena Park, Texas she graduated with honors in 1956.

Barbara married Frank Brautigam in June 1956 and had one child, Travis, born in 1960. They divorced in 1970.

She married Paul Petkovsky in December 1971 and helped to run their business, Paul’s Service Center in Bertram until 1978. Paul passed away in 1979. After Paul’s death, she went to work for Texas Crushed Stone in accounts receivable and remained there until her retirement in 2007.

She married Wayne Drosche in 1993 and remained so until her death. They traveled to many places all over the world enabling her to check many dreams off her bucket list.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother Leo Williams and beloved sister, Marilyn.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Drosche, son Travis and wife Carol, son Paul Petkovsky and wife Mindy, grandson Travis Brautigam, Jr. and wife Ashley, granddaughter Kelsie Brautigam and great grandchildren Cheyanne Sparks and Trey Brautigam.

A private graveside memorial will be held at Mahomet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Mahomet Cemetery Association 12227 E. FM 243
