Betsy Pope

She is survived by her parents J.W. and Betty Lee Pope of Bertram, TX and grandmother Jerry Pope of Georgetown, TX. She is the mother of Ashton Pope of Austin, TX and Tyler Smola of Massachusetts and Grandmother to Romeo Hinds and Iana Andrade. She has 8 siblings, Debbie Galliher of Liberty Hill, Lynn Nelson of Leander, Fran Sessler of Leander, Bill Nelson of Georgetown, Jamie Kitchens of Dallas, Jayleen Lloyd of Bertram, Jimmy Henderson of Orange Grove and Lorrie Nornberg of Corpus Christi. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father Roy Henderson as well as grandparents Jack Pope of Leander, TX, Esterleen Pope of Austin, TX, Alvie Moore of Marble Falls, TX, and Rosie May McGehee of Oklahoma

Betsy was a daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother. She grew up in Leander, TX. She graduated from Leander High School and continued to live in Austin. As a cosmetologist, she had a gift for always seeing what the client wanted and creating the perfect hairdo. Her love of fun and excitement lead her to have wonderful life experiences and made her who she was. Many, many wonderful memories will forever be in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held Thursday July 11, 2013 at 6:00 pm at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, TX.
