Betty Waters

March 21, 1930 - May 6, 2012

Betty was born in Bangs, TX on March 21, 1930 and grew up in Killeen, TX. She was the oldest of 6 children. She attended school through 11th grade at Avenue D high school in Killeen. She was married to Richard Waters in 1947 and had 2 daughters. She is survived by her husband and daughters, Beverly Moran and Kerri Lynn Luke, and her 2 grandchildren Kimberly Biggerstaff and Logan Luke, and 2 great-granddaughters, Harley and Brodie Biggerstaff as well as her 5 siblings Johnny Menges, Sr of Rockdale, TX, Billy Rex Menges of Tucumcari, NM, Terry Menges of Caldwell, TX, Victoria Castro of Austin, TX, and Ronnie Menges of Tillman Ranch in South TX, and countless in-laws, nieces and nephews. Betty worked at Farmers State Bank in Bertram, TX for 25 years until she retired. Her hobbies were spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren and great-granddaughters.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 12, 2012 at South San Gabriel Cemetery presided by Reverend Gordon Bergstrom. Guest register available at www.clementswilcoxburnet.com.
