Clara Mitchell

She was born and raised in Levelland Texas, lived in Austin most of her adult life, and has been living out her golden years on Lake L.B.J. She loved people, especially the grandchildren, and always thought of creative things to do with them which built special memories they will enjoy forever.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Mitchell; children, Amy Keen and husband Kirk Scott Mitchell and wife Sharon; brothers, Wayne Howard and Jimmy Howard; grandchildren, Alyssa, Colton, and Shelby Mitchell and Tanner and Dalton Keen; several nieces and nephews and their families; and her beloved Yorkshire terrier, Chica.

We want to offer special thanks to those who came to share your love with her in her final days, including all the friends, doctors, nurses, and hospice care workers. She will be missed but her light will continue to shine brightly in those of us left behind.

An informal memorial will be held on February 26th at 11 a.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 East Polk, Burnet TX, 78611.
