

Clarence Shelby Anthony Jr., of Burnet, Texas, passed away on April 22, 2026, in Round Rock, Texas, at the age of 60.
Born on October 10, 1965, in Jonesboro, Louisiana, to Clarence Anthony and Sue Ellen Kennedy, Clarence was raised in Marble Falls, Texas, where he graduated with the Class of 1985. Shortly after, he answered the call to serve his country, proudly serving in the United States Army from 1985 to 1991.
Clarence lived a life centered on love, laughter, and the people who meant the most to him. He had a passion for sports, especially wrestling, and was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed cooking, listening to music, and creating moments that brought family together. But above all, his greatest joy came from spending time with his children, grandchildren, and loved ones each of whom held a special place in his heart.
In August of 2004, Clarence met Rachel, the love of his life. Their bond was undeniable, and in 2011 they were married, blending their lives and families into something truly special. Clarence embraced his role in his œbonus family with open arms, offering love, support, and laughter that will never be forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Shelby Anthony; his mother, Sue Ellen Kennedy; his stepfather, Lawrence Kennedy; his brother, Antonio Anthony; and his stepbrother, Goldie Kennedy.
He leaves behind a family who will forever carry his memory in their hearts: his beloved wife, Rachel Anthony; his siblings, Debra Davidson and husband Anthony, Darlina and Carl Hubbard, Lawrence Kennedy, Elizabeth and Jason Marquart; his children, Kian Brown and fiance Kelsey , Joseph Escamilla, Brittani Escamilla, Amy Escamilla , Felice and husband Bryan, and Emily Escamilla.
His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Cade and Avery Escamilla and husband Andrew, Kaylee, Abby, and Emmy Bennight, and Adisyn and Elle Robles, and soon to be granddaughter Greer Brown as well as his great-grandchildren, Jeremiah and Zavier. He also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were touched by his kindness and presence.
Clarence will be remembered for his big heart, his sense of humor, and the unwavering love he gave so freely. The memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the love he poured into his family will live on forever.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved
