

Curtis was born in Graham, TX to Carlos and Johnnie Corley on June 24, 1925. In life Curtis was proud to serve in the Army Air Force from 1943-1946 and married the love of his life, Francis Lee Blanche Nelson . After serving his duty in the Army Air Force he worked in Andrews, TX as an oil field worker. Later, he became an expert building and remodeling contractor and cabinet maker in Austin, TX and the surrounding communities. Curtis also proudly served on the Leander Planning and Zoning Committee from 9/1987-9/1991 and the City Council Place 3 from 8/1996-5/2001 and supported the community in many ways.
Curtis is preceded in death by his son Andy Laveral Corley and brother John W. Corley.
Curtis is survived by his wife of 75 years Francis Lee Blanche Nelson Corley, son John D. Corley and daughter-in-law Deborah Corley and daughter-in-law Esther Corley. Grandsons Fred Corley, Curtis W. Corley – wife Shannan, and granddaughter, Sandy Corley. Great grandchildren include Chloe, Carter, Esme, Jasper, Micheala, Kay, Tiffany, and Melinda. He is also survived by his special friends, John Cowman and Jim Bectol.
A visitation at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home for Curtis will be held Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A funeral service at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home chapel will occur Monday, March 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM. A burial at Liberty Hill Cemetery will occur Monday, March 14, 2022.
