Darlene Jackson

Darlene Jackson, age 18 passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012, at her home in Burnet, Texas. She was born in Austin May 9, 1994, and raised in Burnet. She was a senior at Burnet High School and was set to graduate with the Class of 2013. Darlene worked part time as a server at Crazy Gal’s Café in Burnet. She was saved to the Lord during her freshman year in high school. The Bible verses in her room at home were Romans 10: verses 9-10, Colossians 1: verses 1-10, and John 3: verses 3-5.

Darlene is survived by her parents Danny and Gail Widener; brothers Charlie and Garrett Jackson; sister Bobbie Jackson; grandparents Sam and Jesse Roden and Myrna Widener and niece Melanie Jackson. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 1 at the Church at The Epicenter officiated by Pastor Kyle Byrd. Interment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park. Those named as pallbearers were Frank Beltran, Emilio Perez, Andrew Roden, Jesse Roden, Jacob Terry, Charlie Jackson, and Garrett Jackson.
