Doris Evelyn Marris Morgan, 94, of Burnet, Texas, formerly of Richardson, Texas passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Mrs. Morgan was born July 14, 1918, in Thorndale, Texas to Henry Albert Marris and Alice Amanda Baker Marris. Mrs. Morgan was a member of First Baptist Church of Burnet.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Bob Morgan, her father Henry Albert Marris, mother Alice Amanda Baker Marris, (3) Sisters Opal Beall, Alice Alberta Salvo, Ruby Lee Watson.
She is survived by her daughter Victoria Sue Morgan Barho and Husband Jimmy Leo Barho of Burnet, Texas; son Mark David Morgan and wife Phyllis Anne Shook Morgan of Wolf City, Texas; (1) sister Ima Burks of Conroe, Texas; (1) brother-in-law A. M. Salvo of Corpus Christi, Texas and (1) sister-in-law Emma June Morgan of Burnet, Texas; (5) Grandchildren Jimmy Leo Barho, Jr. of Georgetown, Texas, Kathrine LaJan Barho Steffek of Marble Falls, Texas, Deborah Sue Barho Sampson of Lacey, Washington, Carrie Ann Morgan Hope of Sherman, Texas, Melissa Morgan Pitzer of Sherman, Texas . (8) Great Grandchildren Jimmy Leo Barho III (TY) of Georgetown, Texas, Nickolas Ray Steffek, Derek Ray Steffek, and Hunter Ray Steffek of Marble Falls, Texas; Hannah Morgan Sampson of Lacey, Washington; Jacob Alexander Hope and Taylor Olivia Hope of Sherman, Texas; Bailey Ashlyn Pitzer and Mia Evelynn Pitzer of Sherman, Texas. Family visitation will be on Friday, September 7, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. at Clements Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, Texas with graveside services to be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 7403 West Northwest Highway, Dallas, Texas 75225 (214) 363-5401.
