Jack Patrick Miller

John Patrick Miller, 71, passed away September 29, 2014. Patrick was born on October 10, 1942 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Albert and Bernadine Miller. After graduating high school in Clinton, Iowa he served in the United States Navy from November 1962 through February 1964.

Pat settled in Texas where he met and married Shirley, his wife of 23 years. They worked as a team on many business adventures in construction and development throughout Texas. When he wasn’t working he loved salt water fishing and relaxing with his family and friends on South Padre Island.

He is preceded in death by his parents Albert Miller and Bernadine Byams Miller. Patrick is survived by his wife Shirley, two step children Tammy Collins and husband Todd and Cody Bristow, his sister Sharon Miller and two nephews Kevin Moore and wife Robbie and Cori Moore, three step grandsons Paden Collins and wife Jenna, Quaid Collins and Beau Bristow and great grandson Bishop Collins.

A memorial service will be held on Friday October 3, 2014 at 10:00 am at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, TX.
