

Joe King II, born February 26, 1952 in Midland, Texas passed away September 23, 2011 at the age of 59. Joe was a wonderful husband, and a great father who enjoyed life to the fullest. He was an avid soccer fan, hunter, Harley rider and diehard Texas Tech alumni. He was also a passionate member of the Tech Rodeo Association and participated in rodeos throughout his college years. He gave his all to everything he did in both work and play.
Joe was a registered professional engineer, a Diplomat in the American Academy of Environmental Engineers, and was recently inducted into the Texas Tech Civil and Environmental Engineering Academy. He was active in the Water Environment Association of Texas, Water Environment Federation, and showed great support for the Operations Challenge teams. His many contributions to the water industry in the United States earned him numerous honors and awards.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, mother, stepmother, and grandparents. He is survived by his wife of 33 years Nancy, and his two sons William Shawn and Clayton Montgomery. He also leaves behind many loving friends and family. Joe will live on in our hearts, but will always be missed.
Joe King will be laid to rest in Burnet Texas at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 Funeral Services will be at Clements-Wilcox Chapel in Burnet. And his Celebration of Life will be held in Fort Worth Texas on Sunday, October 9, 2011.
