He was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. Leo graduated from Cretin High School, then Minnesota in civil engineering. After 32 years, he retired from the Minnesota Department of Transportation in 1991 after 35 years of employment.
Survived by daughter, Natalie (Donald) Nelson; and sons, Michael and Joseph (Cherie) Warren; son-in-law, Robert Goodsell: step grandsons, Travis and Steven Goodsell sister, Sharol Eggenberger; sister-in-law, Janet Grimes; caregiver niece, Christy Lunde; dog, Thumper; and nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Janice (Hoeft)Warren; children, Patrick Warren and Mary Goodsell; parents, Leo M and Agnes (Briggs) Warren; and sister, Carol Lunde.
Visitation on Thursday, 01/27/2022 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. with Prayer service at 3:00 pm at Clements Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, TX. Prayer service officiated by Father Jose Comparan of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. Funeral and inurnment later at Guardian Angels Catholic Church and cemetery in Oakdale, MN.
