She was a woman of great faith, who lived her life for God and her family. She enjoyed many of life’s simple loves in her 87 years. She loved sewing dresses for her daughters, enjoyed walking with family, and enjoyed playing bingo and dominos. Marcella had a wonderful sense of humor and was known for her laughter and her ability to make others laugh. This, like her love of ice cream, was a joy she shared and passed down from generation to generation.
She loved to sing to her greatest love, her Lord and savior Jesus Christ. She loved her family and her greatest desire was to see them happy and saved. She is survived by all of her seven children, Estella Limas, Lorenzo Romero, Fermin Romero, Esmeralda Barrera, Ernesto Romero, Armando Romero, and Alejandro Romero; by 17 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 21 great great grandchildren. Marcella Romero left a lasting life testimony of love and faith, and she will long be missed.
Marcella will lie in state at La Roca Viva Church in Burnet where there will be visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 3rd. Her funeral will be held at the church at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 4th officiated by Associate Pastor Lorenzo Romero and Reverend Lorenzo Romero, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park. Pallbearers named were Lorenzo Romero, Gabriel Romero, John Romero, A.J. Romero, Rubin Barrera, and Gavin Barrera. “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7. Condolences may be offered to www.clementswilcoxburnet.com.
