Margaret Marie (Alverson) Gilmore, 72 of Burnet passed away December 28, 2913. She was born October 28, 1941, in Burnet to Elbert Ray Alverson and Grace Marie (Giddens) Alverson. Margaret was retired from the U.S. Postal Service where she worked as mail carrier and also a member of local chapter of the Eastern Star here in Burnet.
Margaret is survived by her daughter Liz Crider-Dever of Marble Falls, son Stacy Gilmore of Louisiana, brothers Raymond Alverson of Sugerland, Clay Alverson of Lufkin, and her mother Marie Alverson of Burnet. Also surviving are grandchildren Ryan Dever of Marble Falls, and Justin Gilmore and Kaylen Gilmore, both of Lousiana. Margaret is also suvived by a sister-in-law Katy Gimore of Burnet as well as other family and friends.
At her request, Margaret’s remains were cremated. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Margaret may be offered to any favorite charity or organization. Condolences to the family may be made to www.clementswilcoxburnet.com
