Maynard Harold Witt

Maynard was the youngest of four children born to this union Thos. B. Witt, Mamie L. Witt, Affelene Witt.

He married Jorene McCubbin September 21, 1951 in Amarillo.

Maynard worked as a TV technician, owned and operated Golden Spread TV and Appliance until 1986 at which time they moved to Burnet, TX and bought Council Creek Lodge in February 1988 and operated until 2000.

They built a house in Donall Estates on Lake Buchanan and moved there June 2000 and there until Maynard’s death.

Maynard enjoyed fishing and attended East Lake Fellowship.

He is survived by his wife Jorene Witt, son Gary Witt, grandson Jared Witt, twin great granddaughters Jorene and Mary Witt, sisters Fannie and Eunice, sister-in-law Lucille and husband Vaden Gazaway, as well as lots of nieces and nephews and wonderful friends.

Memorials may be made to East Lake Fellowship or your favorite charity.

Visitation will be Friday August 12, 2016 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home 5:00 – 7:00 pm.

Funeral service will be held Saturday August 13, 2016 at 11:00 am at East Lake Fellowship. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo on Monday August 15, 2016 at 11:00 am.
