Mildred M Jennings

She is survived by her son Kenneth Jennings and wife Gail, daughters Alice Jane Bird, Sue Ellen Faris and husband Chris, and son Terry Jennings, all of Burnet. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Amanda Barnett and Tonya Miller, both of Kingsland, Glen, Gregory, and Sabrina Bird, all of Burnet, and Carter, Katie, and Cooper Faris also of Burnet. Mildred is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents Adolph and Alice Kircher Schubert and husband Eldon.

Mildred and her family moved to Lake Buchanan where she and her husband owned and operated Black Rock Cottages from 1961 to 1973. They then moved to Burnet where she worked for bookkeeping firms until the mid-1970’s when she established Jennings Bookkeeping and tax service.

Mildred was a true and faithful active member of Victory Baptist Church since its beginning. She was saved at the age of 12 and was secure in her salvation and relationship with Jesus.

A visitation for Mildred will be held Wednesday evening May 7th from 5:00 to 7:00 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet. The funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon May 8th at 3:00 at Victory Baptist Church in Burnet. Burial will follow at Post Mountain Cemetery in Burnet. Condolences may be
