

Born Patricia Mary H. September 14, 1934 in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
Married US Navy sailor Emmit Jackson McPherson, of Llano, Texas in 1958. She literally traveled coast to coast across the USA, where ever the Navy sent them. Acting as chief of boat's wife, she helped many young wives and mothers to navigate life while their husbands were out to sea.
She had children born in Virginia, Great Britain, Las Vegas, Florida, and two in New York. Now pre-deceased by 12 years to the day, of youngest son, Frank Grant McPherson, of Burnet. She is also survived by Georgia of Kingsland, Wanda and husband Bob of Liberty Hill, Brian of New Braunfels, Faith and her husband Kip of Bertram, Kathleen of Dallas, also former husband, E J McPherson of Llano.
She helped raise many of the 15 grandkids and has 17 great grands and five great greats, to date.
As the kids were coming up, Pat supported each of them in their individual endeavors. "Mama ", was known to mother all the kids' friends who came under her roof as well. Adventurous, & fun loving, she was a big fan of games for family times. And in her later years TV game shows. She was known to be, the Jeopardy expert!
She used to be a fan of professional sports before it became too political. Accomplished in all things homemaking, from the garden to the kitchen and sewing just about anything, Pat was quite gifted in art and music and passed these talents on to her children. She was a renaissance woman.
After raising families, in her working life, she has been a cook, seamstress, and personal home care provider.
Mother made room in her heart and home life for all. Patricia was an animal lover and had many over the years. Her latest love, was a Pomeranian, "Jolene", who now resides with her good neighbor, John Lovic of Burnet.
She will certainly be missed by those who love her.
There will be a private memorial at a later date.
