

Rebecca Jane Damron was born August 31, 1935 and died October 28, 2011 at age 76 with her family and friends by her side. Becky was born in Houston, the 5th of 7 children in a large, loving family. Her father, Raymond Deison, was a Presbyterian minister. Her mother, Helen, taught elementary school.
Becky received her BBS degree from North Texas State College in Denton in 1957 after graduating from Conroe High School in 1953. She was a well-loved teacher and librarian. She continued her life of service to others as a nurse aide and ward clerk in Burnet.
Becky loved life at the lake, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Her children and grandchildren will forever carry her patient, nurturing spirit in their hearts.
Becky is survived by her siblings, Dianne O’Leary, Mickey Deison, Betty Greenshield, Patsy Peacock, David Deison, Pete Deison; 2 children, Kirk Damron, Janan Boyter and her husband Rayce Boyter; 4 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Damron, Madison Damron, Dylan Boyter and Clayton Boyter.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Becky’s honor to some of her favorite charities; St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and The Chris Yoder Animal Adoption Center in Buchanan, Texas.
Visitation will be Monday 6-8 p.m. Graveside services will be Tuesday at Austin Memorial Park in Austin. Texas at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, Texas. Condolences may be made at www.clementswilcoxburnet.com
