Renee "Nana" Hazlewood

She graduated from Cypress-Fairbanks High School in 1961, and later attended Baldwin Beauty College that began her life long career as a beautician. Renee worked at The Hair Smith of Bonanza Beach where she enjoyed taking care of her clients. After retiring from cutting hair, she loved working with her family and her extended work family at Thunderbird Lodge that John and Donna Williams owned at the time.

Renee married Mike Hazlewood on December 26, 1962; she was a member of Eastern Star Burnet Chapter #425 and a member of First Baptist Church of Silver Creek.

She is survived by her husband Mike, daughters DeeAnn Hazlewood, Denise Gibson and husband Jeff, and son Delean Hazlewood and wife Sara all of Burnet, grandchildren Brandi Gebhard, Danielle Mitchell, Ciara Gibson, Hannah Hazlewood, Michael Gibson, Emi Parker, Tyler Hazlewood, Skyla Hazlewood, Starla Hazlewood, and great grandchildren Tieran Rex, Joaquin Palacios and Ameila Palacios. Renee is preceded in death by her parents and brother Sonny Dees.
