Robbin Ann Neighbor, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026, at the age of 62. She was born on December 18, 1963, in Corpus Christi, Texas, and spent her entire adult life in Burnet, Texas, a place she proudly called home.
Robbin was a graduate of Burnet High School and dedicated more than 35 years of service to H-E-B., where she built not only a successful career but also lasting friendships within the community she loved so deeply. Her loyalty to both Texas and H-E-B. ran deep—so deep, in fact, that no place she traveled and no store she visited ever quite compared. Whether exploring a new town or visiting her family across the country, she always made time to check out the local grocery store. Still, the verdict was almost always the same: it was nice—but it wasn’t H-E-B.
She was a strong, independent, and deeply loyal woman who spent 39 years loving her husband, Don. Together, they created a life full of love, laughter, and memories—many of them made while traveling in their fifth wheel, enjoying the open road side by side. Robbin also loved watching her Texas football teams, often doing so with the same enthusiasm she showed at her children’s and grandchildren’s events.
Robbin was a devoted mother to her four children and an even more devoted Nana to her seven grandchildren. She loved her grandchildren fiercely and was immensely proud of each of them. Whether cheering from the stands or celebrating milestones, she never missed an opportunity to support the people she loved.
Robbin is preceded in death by her parents, Ron and Cleo Hornsby and her uncles, Roger and Keith Hornsby. She is survived by her loving husband, Don Neighbor; her children, Zane Hornsby and his wife Mariah of Preston, Connecticut; Seth Neighbor and his wife Anne of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Katy Door and her husband Darrin of Wayland, Michigan; and Logan Neighbor of Plain City, Utah; as well as her seven cherished grandchildren.
She leaves behind several sisters, those she was blessed with through family and those she chose along the way, including her biological sisters, Jody Menzie and Wendy McClain, and the dear friends she loved as sisters, Deana Thomas and Sarah Hyde, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
Robbin was an exceptional daughter, sister, friend, and servant to her community. Above all else, she was a child of God. Her family finds peace in knowing that she is now restored; her mind and sight made whole in the presence of Heaven’s glory.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her strength, her love, and the joy she found in her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Robbin will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations in Robbin’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association at Help fight Alzheimer's. https://donorservices.alz.org
