Robert Jackson

Robert Michael Jackson, age 55, of Dale, formerly of Burnet, passed away Friday, August 29, 2014, in a motorcycle accident. He was born December 14, 1958, in Inglewood, CA. to Bob J. Jackson and Denise Shuler Jackson.

Robert moved from Winnebago, IL. to Burnet in 1990 to raise his three sons. Robert designed, built, and operated multiple high technology chemical manufacturing plants, including ADCS in Burnet, and distributed industrial chemicals throughout the world. Robert loved his friends and family, and was known to help anybody at anytime. He very much loved Texas, his Harley and his dog Reno.

Robert is survived by his son Eric Ryan Jackson (daughter-in-law Carissa Grace James) of Dale; parents Bob and Corina Rios Jackson of Pecatonica, IL. and Denise and David Kushner of Los Angeles, CA.; sister Michelle J. Jackson of Winfield, IL.; brother Steven P. Jackson (Nova Candice Jackson) of Burnet; and sisters Maria-Christina Jackson of Madison, WI.; and Dr. Tamara Jackson-Zeiter (Dr. Daniel Zeiter and son, Oliver) of Ancaster, Canada. He is also survived by his sons' mother Kimberly Kirby Jackson. Robert was preceded in death by his sons Jason McCaslin Jackson and Thomas Gene Jackson.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday evening, September 3 from 6:00 to 8:00 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet. The funeral service will be held Thursday morning September 4 at 10:00 at Clements-Wilcox

Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
