

Ronald W. Farmer passed away unexpectedly at home in Burnet, TX on Friday, February 22, 2013. He was born on September 29, 1955 in Topeka, KS to Ted and Alice Farmer currently of El Dorado, KS. Ron’s early schooling was in El Dorado where his naturally friendly personality was a joy to his classmates and many friends. Ron was always a natural leader, even starting as Assistant Scoutmaster and Senior Patrol leader of the local Boy Scout Troop.
Ron graduated with a BS degree in Automotive Technology and Computer Science in 1977 from Pittsburgh State University in Pittsburgh, KS. This is where he met his wife Sharon Harp of Neodesha, KS. Soon after their marriage they moved to Texas where they have made their home since. Ron and Sharon bought and owned the local Burnet NAPA auto parts store after first moving to Burnet. Ron then progressed to a prominent position at ATMI who is a world renowned leader in the semiconductor industry. He worked for ATMI for 14 years, and his most recent role was Director of Change Supply.
He will be truly missed by friends and family.

Nephew and wife: Tom and Christy Farmer of Broken Arrow, OK
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home Burnet. Funeral Services 1 pm Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the Burnet First United Methodist Church. Interment Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
