Rosa Hartman

Rosa “Rosie” Hart Hartman born February 16, 1954, in Corpus Christi went to be with our Lord on November 18, 2014 at the age of 60 years and 9 months. She married John Hartman on February 11, 1997 in Horseshoe Bay.

Rosie leaves behind the love of her life, John and children Shane Blair, Aaron Blair and wife Phyllis, and Christie Blair and husband James Little, 9 grandchildren Kyle Blair, Zachary Blair, Leslie Garrett, Bryant Blair, Jon Little, Jeremy Little, Joshua Blair, Emily Blair, and Errin Blair. Also surviving is a brother Leslie Hart and sisters Judy Owens, Connie Weems, and Glenda Weems. Rosie is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Emmett Leslie Hart and Belva (Pugh) Hart, brothers Benny Earl Wimberly, Dennis Skinner, and sister Ruth Richards.

Rosie worked for many years as a nurse taking care of the elderly. She enjoyed taking care of her family, knitting, and dancing. She was an avid reader and a great cook. She will be truly missed, but we rejoice knowing she will always be guiding us and waiting for her loved ones to join her.

A visitation for Rosie’s family and friends will be held Thursday, November 20th from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 21st at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Mahomet Cemetery. Those named as pallbearers were Bo Hart, Chris Hart, Donnie Wilder, Jay Weems, Benny Weems, and Elmer Owens. Her grandchildren were named as honorary pallbearers.
