Peggy,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I feel blessed, having known him. He left many footprints upon this old Earth, and most of those footprints were upon the hearts of family and friends. 👣Anyone who knew him, will carry him in their heart, until the end of their days.👣
God only made a few like Ruben, then He sprinkled them over the earth, to give the earth flavor, and we call those few, he Salt of The Earth. Ruben will be mist by many. Earth's loss, is Heavens gain. 👣

Bub Lastly and Gerald Shelburn. Heaven is a better place by having these two up there. Listening to them go back and forth over dominoes, Pitch, or just sitting on the front porch was a real joy. He was the epitome of an "Ace Reid Cowpoke" cowboy. Daddy's best friend...I'm sure as younger men, they were involved in much mischief together.
Peggy Nell (during game of Pitch): "Well, I was thinking..."
Bub: "Now hold on. If there's any thinking going on, I need to know about it."
Too many superlatives to list - a fine, good-hearted, much-loved man. You will be missed but the memories will live forever.
