Sylvia Yvetta Silzel

Yvetta was born on March 4,1937 to her loving parents Johnnie and Elva Stephenson. She had one brother and two sisters, Donald (Boog) Stephenson, Lois Boyles and Sharlotte Campbell.

Yvetta married Mike Silzel 13 years ago and they reside in Burnet, TX. She has one son, Jackie Allen and daughter in law Roxann, a daughter, Dianne and son in law Paul Barwis another daughter, Angie and son in law Jesse Mendoza.

Yvetta has 8 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Yvetta lived in Seminole, Texas for many years where she was a member of the First Baptist Church. Later in life she moved to Burnet, Texas and joined Hill Country Fellowship. Yvetta was known for her beautiful voice, outgoing, witty, and sweet personality, and a wonderful smile that brightened the room. She loved the Lord and made sure her kids were in church and she raised them to have faith in God and to love Him with all their hearts. She loved her family very much.

Yvetta was preceded in death by her mother and father, her brother Donald and sister, Lois.

Funeral service for Sylvia will be held at Hill Country Fellowship Church on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 12:00 PM, followed by a burial at Post Mountain Cemetery.
