

Vernelle graduated from Sequin High School and Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, earning a degree in Art. She taught for 34 years. For many years she was active in all Arts and Craft shows, the Retired Teachers Association, Veterans Affairs and American Legion.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Palmour (known as Coach), daughter Roxanne Palmour Gosch and husband, Mark, son Stephen Palmour and wife Kathleen, son Aaron Palmour and wife Shirley, sister-Arline Woehler Eberhard and husband Herbert, sister Shirley Woehler Hester and husband Douglas. Vernelle is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Vernelle’s life will be held Saturday, May 12th, at 2:00 P.M. at First United Methodist Church in Burnet with Reverend Thom Elliott officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to St. Jude’s Children’s’ Hospital, March of Dimes, or any library system of your choice. Condolences may be offered to www.clementswilcoxburnet.com.
