Betty was a very special lady and easy to love. She carried herself with remarkable calm, gracefully raising seven children. Betty rarely showed stress, was quick to laugh, and a joy to be around. Her deep faith was the root of her steady and peaceful spirit. Betty had a natural way of bringing comfort and peace to those around her, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whom she loved with all of her heart.
Betty was preceded in death by her son, Randy Baker; daughter, Kelley Baker; parents Peter and Nellie Reminga; brothers Marvin and Jim Reminga; sisters Sue Adrianse and Jean Timmer; and son-in-law, Kirk Dobson.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children Jolynne (Steve) Knowlton, Jeri Ditta, Rick Baker, Jayme (Jason) Jeffery, Kathy (Andrew) Smith; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Betty's children would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Faith Hospice, Trillium Woods, and Byron Manor for the way they so lovingly cared for their mom.
