

Daniel "Danny" Gleason, age 33, went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, January 2, 2022. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Fredrick Gleason, and oma, Cäcilie Leger. He is survived by his spouse, Amanda Vandenbosch; children Logan, Brooklyn, Alexa, Devin, and Brody; father, Mark (Alicia) Gleason; mother, Kerstin (Frank) Aguilar; siblings Samantha (Adam) Nowakowski, Angela Russo, Nicholas Russo, Katelin Mansel, Briana Aguilar, Brittney Aguilar, Michael Mansel, Jessica Gleason, Nicholas Aguilar; grandmother, Sandra Gleason; opa, Erwin Leger; nephew, Sebastian Nowakowski; best friend and cousin, Bill D’Amico; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Danny was born in Zweibrücken, Germany. He loved the outdoors, especially boating. From his core, he was always very patriotic. Danny spent many years in the roofing business. His family and friends were his number one priority in life, and his helpful and caring heart often meant he was the first one to drop everything to help others. He will be deeply missed by all.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2022, at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, Michigan. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Resurrection Life Church (Res Center - use doors E and H), with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. The service will be livestreamed at https://youtu.be/Akxh0ukMuDA. Interment will take place at Winchester Cemetery.
